Description
A light and fruity dessert made with sweet plums and a creamy cottage cheese layer, topped with a golden crumble. Perfect for a summer treat or a comforting end to a meal.

- 500g ripe plums, halved and pitted
- 2 tbsp sugar (for plums)
- 200g cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp honey or sugar (for cheese mixture)
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 50g rolled oats
- 75g butter, cold and cubed
- 50g brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the halved plums in a baking dish and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg, vanilla extract, and honey or sugar until smooth. Spread the mixture over the plums evenly.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the cubed butter and rub it into the dry ingredients using your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cottage cheese layer.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can substitute plums with peaches, nectarines, or mixed berries.
- Use low-fat cottage cheese for a lighter version.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of Greek yogurt.
