Description

A bold and flavorful pasta dish that combines tender steak slices with a rich, sweet and spicy garlic sauce, served over your favorite pasta for a comforting and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season sliced steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, chili garlic sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili garlic sauce or red pepper flakes.
  • For a thicker sauce, simmer a little longer before adding the steak and pasta.
  • Can be made with chicken or tofu as an alternative protein.
