A bold and flavorful pasta dish that combines tender steak slices with a rich, sweet and spicy garlic sauce, served over your favorite pasta for a comforting and satisfying meal.

- 12 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to heat preference)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season sliced steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, chili garlic sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili garlic sauce or red pepper flakes.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer a little longer before adding the steak and pasta.
- Can be made with chicken or tofu as an alternative protein.
