Description

A delicious and healthy make-ahead breakfast featuring the classic combination of strawberries and cream in creamy overnight oats.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons cream or coconut cream (optional for extra richness)

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir well to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash of cream or coconut cream if desired.
  6. Top with extra strawberries before serving.

Notes

  • Can be made up to 3 days in advance.
  • Use plant-based milk and yogurt for a vegan version.
