- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons cream or coconut cream (optional for extra richness)
Instructions
- In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Stir well to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash of cream or coconut cream if desired.
- Top with extra strawberries before serving.
Notes
- Can be made up to 3 days in advance.
- Use plant-based milk and yogurt for a vegan version.
- Add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein.
