- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup rainbow sprinkles (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract if using.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until a dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and roll them into balls.
- Roll each dough ball in rainbow sprinkles until fully coated.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a softer cookie, avoid overbaking.
- You can change sprinkle colors based on the occasion.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
