Description

This Orange Cinnamon Milk Tea is a warm, aromatic blend of black tea, citrusy orange peel, cinnamon spice, vanilla, and creamy milk. Perfect for chilly mornings or relaxing evenings, this cozy drink is a delicious twist on traditional milk tea!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 black tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf black tea)

  • Peel of 1/2 orange (plus extra for garnish)

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 tsp brown sugar (or to taste)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup milk (or milk of choice)

  • Orange twist or slice, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

  • Add orange peel and cinnamon stick. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to infuse flavors.

  • Add black tea and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on strength preference.

  • Strain the tea, removing cinnamon stick and orange peel. Discard or remove tea bag.

  • Stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract while hot.

  • Add milk and gently heat for 2–3 minutes. Do not boil.

  • Pour into a mug and garnish with a twist of orange peel or a slice of orange.

  • Sip and enjoy your cozy, citrusy, spiced milk tea!

Notes

  • For a caffeine-free version, use rooibos or herbal black tea.

  • Adjust sweetness to your preference with honey, agave, or maple syrup.

  • Try oat or almond milk for a dairy-free twist.
