Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden and centers are set.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Do not overbake; cookies will continue to cook slightly while cooling.
