- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Popsicle molds and sticks
Instructions
- Dissolve matcha powder in hot water, whisk until smooth and lump-free. Let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix the milk and sweetened condensed milk. Add the cooled matcha mixture and stir well.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, salt, and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture to create the cheese foam.
- Pour the matcha mixture into popsicle molds, filling about 3/4 full. Add a layer of cheese foam on top.
- Insert sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours or until solid.
- To release, run molds under warm water for a few seconds before removing the popsicles.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by changing the amount of condensed milk.
- For a more intense matcha flavor, add an extra 1/2 tsp of matcha powder.
- Use silicone molds for easier removal.
