Description

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread crumbs for coating
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, grated cheese, minced garlic, cornflour, all-purpose flour, chopped herbs, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Mix well until a soft dough forms.
  3. Take small portions and shape into small balls or pops.
  4. Roll the balls in bread crumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the potato pops in batches until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dip.

Notes

  • You can add chili flakes or finely chopped green chilies for a spicy kick.
