Description

This Easy Waffle Recipe delivers perfectly fluffy, golden waffles that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Made with simple pantry staples, these homemade waffles are the ultimate breakfast treat—quick, delicious, and ideal for busy mornings or lazy brunches!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 3/4 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • For Serving (optional):

    • Butter

    • Maple syrup

    • Fresh fruits

    • Whipped cream

Instructions

  • Preheat Waffle Iron: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to preheat your waffle maker.

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Combine: Pour wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix—some lumps are okay.

  • Cook: Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron, being careful not to overfill. Cook until golden brown and crisp.

  • Serve: Remove and serve hot with your favorite toppings like butter, syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix: A few lumps in the batter = tender waffles.

  • Preheat fully: Ensures even cooking and crisp texture.

  • Customize: For extra fluffy waffles, separate eggs and beat whites to soft peaks before folding in.

  • Storage: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in toaster or oven.
