Description

Fluffy and delicious easy homemade pancakes made with simple ingredients in just 20 minutes! Perfect for a quick breakfast, these golden pancakes are light, airy, and customizable with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

 

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  • Stir in milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined—don’t overmix.

  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

  • Pour about â…“ cup of batter into the center of the skillet.

  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges are golden. Flip and cook for another minute until golden on the bottom.

  • Repeat with the remaining batter.

  • Keep cooked pancakes warm under a towel until ready to serve.

 

  • Serve warm with butter, syrup, and fresh fruit.


Notes

  • For evenly golden tops, avoid oiling the skillet unless it’s not truly nonstick.
