- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
- Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
