Description

These Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are the perfect healthy snack—crispy, naturally sweet, and infused with warm cinnamon flavor. Made in under 20 minutes, they’re gluten-free, low in fat, and a delicious way to enjoy bananas with a twist!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas (peeled and sliced into 1/8-inch rounds)

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Prepare the Bananas: Peel and slice bananas into thin, even ⅛-inch rounds.

  • Coat with Cinnamon-Sugar: In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Toss banana slices with coconut oil or melted butter, then coat evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Heat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Air Fry the Chips: Place banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.

  • Cool and Serve: Let chips cool on a wire rack to crisp up further. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Use firm bananas to ensure a crunchy texture.

  • Avoid overlapping slices in the air fryer to prevent sogginess.

  • Adjust cinnamon and sugar to taste, or use alternative sweeteners for a lower-sugar version.

  • Works best in smaller batches for even cooking.
