Description

Indulge in this quick and elegant Burrata Bruschetta recipe, featuring creamy burrata cheese, ripe tomatoes, and fresh basil on crispy toasted baguette slices. Perfect for parties, appetizers, or a sophisticated snack, this Italian-inspired dish is ready in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 ripe tomatoes, diced

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • 8 ounces burrata cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil.

  • Bake for 5-7 minutes until edges are golden and crisp.

  • In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Once baguette slices are toasted, cool slightly. Top with a generous spoonful of burrata, then the tomato-basil mixture.

  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, rub the toasted bread with a clove of garlic before adding toppings.
  • Use heirloom or cherry tomatoes for a sweeter twist.

  • Burrata is best served at room temperature for maximum creaminess.
