Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup jam (any flavor: raspberry, apricot, strawberry, etc.)

 

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

  • Make the Crumb Mixture:

    • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    • Add melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Stir until crumbly.

  • Layer the Cake:

    • Press two-thirds of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
